I’m Luis. I’m a software engineer in Brooklyn, and I work at Block on build systems, developer experience, and cloud infrastructure.

A lot of that work involves Bazel. I contribute to the project and its rulesets.

I also run [Thoughts on Things](https://thoughtsonthingsllc.com/), my independent software studio.

I started this site on January 9, 2022. It’s where I keep notes on my projects, game development, and whatever else I’m learning.
